About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Head of Electrical & Electronics to lead all electrical and electronic systems for our electric motorcycle and scooter platforms. This role spans the complete product lifecycle — from concept, architecture, and prototyping through vehicle integration, validation, SOP, and field quality. The successful candidate will own Battery & BMS, VCU, motor controller, on-board charger, DC-DC converter, LV electrical systems, power distribution, wiring harness, connectors, ECUs, CAN/LIN communication, diagnostics, instrument cluster, telematics, sensors, lighting, and auxiliary electronics.

Key responsibilities include defining the complete EV Electrical & Electronics architecture and technical standards across motorcycle and scooter platforms; leading BMS integration with VCU and charger; validating vehicle ON/OFF, drive modes, torque and speed control, regeneration, and fault handling; and owning the full LV electrical system including harness design, schematics, connector pin-outs, routing, and protection. The role also involves leading integration of instrument cluster/TFT, TCU/telematics, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, UDS diagnostics, and all vehicle sensors, as well as analyzing CAN logs and DTCs for system-level fault resolution.

The Head of Electrical & Electronics will drive the complete vehicle integration and debugging process through prototype to SOP, manage a multi-disciplinary E&E supplier base covering BMS, VCU, motor controllers, chargers, harness, and cluster/TCU, and lead cross-functional collaboration with Battery, Software, Powertrain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams. The role carries direct P&L accountability for E&E BOM cost, localization targets, VA/VE initiatives, and field warranty reduction.

Candidates must have 12–20+ years of Electrical & Electronics / Vehicle Engineering experience with mandatory EV 2-wheeler background (electric scooter and/or motorcycle), proven NPD-to-SOP delivery, strong hands-on prototype debugging capability, and deep expertise in CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, UDS/diagnostics, wiring harness architecture, and LV electrical systems. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, E&C, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Embedded Systems engineering is required; a Master's degree is an advantage.
